L. A. B. Quality Machining, Inc. was founded by Linda and James Brath in 1985.  We are a woman owned company.  We have always put quality and customer satisfaction first.

We operate with 10 or less employees.  The shop is 5200 square feet plus another 2200 sq. ft. storage building.  The owner Linda Ann Brath (L.A.B.), and her husband James J. Brath started the company when James left Lehr Precision Machining, Inc.  James worked at Lehr for fifteen years, rising to the level of Conventional Machining Superintendent.

L. A. B. Quality Machining, Inc. has two wire E.D.M. machines, the latest of which is the Makino SP43.  We do manual and CNC turn, mill and grinding.  Our grinding machine capabilities are surface, I.D., O.D., and jig grinding.  We do in house heat treating, fabricating, and welding.  We furnish free pick-ups and deliveries to our customers within a 75 mile range.

Our part dimensions certifications are based on surface plates under current flatness documentation, and grand master gauge blocks with current documentation.  We also can furnish outside professional certifications when required.

Our capabilities include production, tools, fixtures, gages, molds, prototypes, and exotic shapes.  We work with Solidworks with Mastercam cad/cam software partnered with a high speed mill allowing us to machine over 3D contour at 200 ipm.

We stand on our quality workmanship, and staying cost effective for our customers.
